After many years, I had the privilege of visiting those places where I ministered as a young itinerant preacher since 2015. God took me to various places in the North of India. Some of the interior regions of Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab. Later, after my marriage, my wife and I were able to serve God as missionaries even in West Bengal and Jharkhand.

In the past 10 years, God has graciously given me the privilege of crisscrossing the country by preaching His life-changing Word. Those days had journies that were tiresome, and exhaustive, with too many unexpected encounters, extreme climatic variations, and tough terrains. But as Paul writes, His grace was sufficient in all my experiences (2 Cor 12:9). I would like to share them with you eventually. Life is a journey and the ‘take-aways’ matter.

We go to a tree to pick a fruit. Fruit attracts us because they are visible. But the roots make it possible for the fruits to manifest. God has called us to be fruitful – to bear fruit. But the journey begins with the root – the unseen part of life, that comes out when a seed dies. Roots are that phase of life where you sow with expectation and sow it right. It is the hard work phase of life. Constant nurturing is important during that waiting period. And it is time that matures it. A decade was my time. It may vary from person to person. Stay rooted faithfully in your work and calling, your fruits will eventually show up.
